At Health Connections Direct Primary Care, I believe healing begins with being heard. Every patient deserves time, attention, and a trusted relationship with their physician—one built on understanding, not rushed visits or quick fixes. My care philosophy blends the science of medicine with the art of connection. I focus on prevention, lifestyle, metabolic health, obesity, and hormone balance to help patients restore energy, confidence, and long-term well-being. As a bilingual family and lifestyle medicine physician, I’ve seen how empowering patients with knowledge and support can transform not just lab results, but their quality of life. My goal is simple: to guide each person toward lasting health—physically, emotionally, and spiritually—through a partnership grounded in compassion and clarity.

Health Connections Direct Primary Care is an independent, membership-based family medicine practice in Florence, Kentucky, founded by Dr. Cynthia Villacis in 2017. The practice provides comprehensive, personalized primary care without the barriers of insurance, offering extended visits, transparent pricing, and direct access to care. Dr. Villacis specializes in metabolic health, obesity and diabetes management, perimenopausal and menopausal women’s health, and immigrant health—including USCIS I-693 exams.
