Terry Parsons

Dr. Terry Parsons is a board certified osteopathic family medicine physician and Founder and CEO of Golden Rule Direct Primary Care in Stuart, Florida that believes in providing exceptional whole person medical care with kindness, compassion and respect for all. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from Middle Tennessee State University and pursued her lifelong dream of becoming a family doctor by attending Nova Southeastern University College of Osteopathic Medicine while also raising her four children. She believes strongly that people can achieve anything they set their mind and will to accomplish as long as their desire is rooted deep in their heart. She has always been passionate about Family Medicine and advocated strongly for medical students to choose Family Medicine as a specialty and served for 3 years on the Student Executive Board with the American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians (ACOFP) as National Student Parliamentarian, Vice President and President. She went on to do her family medicine residency with The HealthCare District of the Palm Beaches serving a rural population in Belle Glade Florida where she served as Co-Chief in her final year and was honored to serve the underserved. That is when her desire to provide affordable healthcare for all was born so she started attending direct primary care conferences and reading everything she could about the model. Upon graduation from residency she first joined a small private practice then a larger employee wellness center which was very similar to a DPC but for larger employers until she was finally able to open her own direct primary care clinic in October 2025. She founded Golden Rule Direct Primary Care to provide the type of care she feels every patient deserves, where they are treated like family and feel completely comfortable and confident in the quality of medical care they receive.
