John Italiano

Dr. John Italiano, DO is a board-certified family medicine physician who was born and raised in Macomb, MI. He completed his medical school at Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine and residency training in family medicine at Trinity Health Muskegon. His clinical interests include preventive medicine, lifestyle optimization, musculoskeletal health, mental well-being, and faith-based wellness. He is also board-certified in osteopathic manipulative treatment (OMT)—a hands-on approach that supports the body’s natural ability to heal. Patients describe Dr. John as approachable, genuine, and deeply empathetic. He takes time to listen, educate, and empower each person he serves—offering care that’s as relational as it is evidence-based. When not in the clinic, Dr. John enjoys spending time with his wife, exploring the outdoors, staying active, and cheering on his MSU Spartans.
