Practice Overview
I left academic medicine as the Chairperson for the Dept of Family Medicine at the John A. Burns SOM in 1999. Been in private practice incorporating functional medicine. My daughter joined me in 2017 upon completion of her FP residency and together we have an integrated practice. We both left the insurance base system and on January 1, 2026 start doing DPC full time. Making the transition and enrolling our existing patients has kept us busy.
