Ayman Founas

Dr. Ayman Founas, D.O., is a board-certified internal medicine physician and the founder of Direct Health DPC, a direct primary care practice in Frisco, Texas. Before opening his practice, Dr. Founas spent ten years as a hospitalist, caring for thousands of patients hospitalized with complications of chronic disease — heart attacks, strokes, heart failure, kidney failure, and uncontrolled diabetes. That decade at the bedside shaped his conviction that most of these outcomes are preventable with the right primary care.
Dr. Founas built Direct Health DPC to deliver that care. Operating on a simple monthly membership model with no insurance billing, the practice offers appointments up to an hour, direct physician access by call or text, and same or next-day availability. His clinical focus is metabolic and cardiovascular health, including hypertension, type 2 diabetes, cholesterol, weight management, and thyroid disease, with an emphasis on prevention and sustainable lifestyle change.
