Our two-physician direct primary care practice in Santa Cruz California was established 7 years ago in 2016. We are thriving in this model, and have done well through the pandemic. We presently provide outpatient AND inpatient services for our continuity practice (no OB), as well as assisted and skilled facility care for our patients.

Strong interpersonal skills are required. This is an outpatient only setting working

Monday-Friday 8:30 AM to 6:00 PM with shared call.  Interest/Experience with

Osteopathic Medicine, Functional Medicine, Integrative Medicine and Telemedicine is a

plus.

Compensation is to be primarily productivity-based with an option for a small part-time

salary.   The Practice will provide structure for overhead as well as sales and marketing

support to building a new practice.  Balanced Physician Care is located in the greater

Jacksonville/ Ponte Vedra Beach area.

Priority Physicians started as one of the first DPC practices in the Midwest back in 2002. Since that time, our practice has expanded to ten physicians over two practice locations. We are looking for a board certified full time or part time (at least 3 days per week) FM, IM or Med/Peds physician. Applicants must have superb interpersonal skills and an desire to work for a practice that specializes in providing exceptional care and service.

Base Salary: Full time salary of $275,000 per year - guaranteed from day 1 - We do not expect physicians to recruit their own patient panel, our business does that. We expect our docs to provide excellent, compassionate care which grows their panel though word of mouth.

Year end bonus: Based on company performance - Typically $15,000-$20,000 per year for FT physician

Call is one out of every 11 weeks

The Physician is expected to be able to provide care consistent with their licensure and/or certification.

The Physician diagnoses and treats both acute and chronic conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, kidney disease and other chronic medical conditions. The Physician will also treat acute conditions such as minor injuries and other acute medical conditions such as infections or exacerbations of chronic diseases.

Orders and interprets diagnostic lab work, x-rays, EKG.

Prescribes medications and other modalities of treatment as needed to treat those conditions that are commonly seen in primary care.

Counsels patients on various disease conditions they may be treating to ensure that the patient is educated to their disease process, treatment, and expected outcomes.

Works as an integral part of a comprehensive and collaborative team in order to provide quality evidenced-based care to our patients.

Performs procedures including but not limited to: laceration repairs, I&Ds, biopsies, lesion destruction with liquid nitrogen and IUD insertions/removals (we can teach you if you don’t currently know how to perform these procedures).

Performs all other related duties as assigned.
